I read. Reading is cool. I thought I would let you in on what knowledge I am filling my head with – obviously updates to be expected:
Business, Finances and Entrepreneurial things.
I am currently fairly new at business things. So I have been reading A LOT of books to try and figure it out. It started back in the day when I spent money on a Free Range Humans Course. I am in the process of going through that material again. I am also starting a course ‘the miracle morning routine’ to try and get sorted in how to prioritize my time before I give that time to other people.
Currently I am looking for suggestions on personal development books.
Vegan, HCLF, Vegetarian, Plant Based things.
I have been a vegetarian since I was 13 0r 14 – definitely grade 9 – maybe sooner, on and off vegan for the last 10 years. Honestly right now I am plugging my way through a lot of material trying to figure out weight loss on a plant based diet. Also trying to heal my thyroid.
Starch Solution by John A Macdougall is a massive influencer for High Carb Hannah who is one of my favorite YouTuber creators. Her content is largely based on this book. I have watched a ton of HCH on YouTube and I own quite a few of her eBooks. Basically I have been trying to get to a place of intuitive eating, and full vegan. #goals
Spiritual/New Age Hippie Stuff.
It is true what people say you need to believe in yourself and your ability to make things happen. If you truly believe that something is, you will make it so. I know this belief is not for everybody (but nor is organized religion). If you are in a place in your life where you are kind of stuck – here are some great reads to think about the world & yourself differently.
The Secret – Rhonda Byrne. I bought a copy of this on the streets on Shanghai. I read it on the bus around Croatia through to Italy. I can literally remember the first thing I tried to manifest in Pula, Croatia. So worth the read.
Ask and it is Given; Learning to Manifest your Desires – Ester & Jerry Hicks. One of my longest lasting friends bought me a copy of this FOREVER ago when I was really, really struggling in life. To be honestly it was a great reminder that I need to watch what I am thinking about and stressing about and having anxiety about because the truth is – those thoughts created a reality I didn’t want.
Infinite Possibilities by Mike Dooley. This is a current read. Actually every now and again I crack it open and it always seems to take me to a page that is most relevant to what I am going through. I will likely keep using it in the manner for the foreseeable future until I power through some of my other books.
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. This book has been recommended to me by soooooo many people. Next up on the reading list.
